Masters student Tess Santos successfully presented her research plans at the University of Lisbon this week. Well done, Tess! She's been busy in the lab and will have results early next year. We're really looking forward to it and pushing forward with the data as well as trying out some new techniques.
This has been a busy term for speaking engagements and letting people know about the project. I recently gave talks at the University of Zürich and at the Max Planck Institute for Ornithology, near Konstanz, Germany. Next term I'll be focusing on analysis, including social and genetic data, but I do have a further talk in South Africa lined up.
